Kresge Artist Fellowship

Funding: $50,000 unrestricted. Who can apply: Legal resident of Wayne, Oakland, or Macomb County, Michigan for 2+ years, must remain in tri-county area during fellowship year; 18+; not a recipient of this fellowship in the past 10 years; not currently pursuing an academic degree (ABD PhD candidates may apply); staff/family of Kresge Arts in Detroit or The Kresge Foundation ineligible. Length: One year. Artist support services, legal/accounting referrals, promotional support, film series participation. Field: Rotates by discipline group across cycles (e.g., Live Arts and Film & Music; Literary and Visual Arts). Applications close around 2027-01-15 (expected; confirm on the official site).
