Echidna Global Scholars Program

Funding: Approximately $26,500 stipend. Who can apply: Professionals from the Global South with a master's degree and at least 10 years of experience in research, academia, NGOs, civil society, or government, focused on girls' education and gender equity in education. Length: 6 months (2 months remote, 4 months in residence). Round-trip airfare to Washington, DC; single-occupancy housing for the residency period; leadership and policy-impact training. Field: Education research and policy, gender equity in education. Deadline: Annual, typically mid-December (2026 cohort deadline was December 15, 2025).
