Kenan Fellows Program for Teacher Leadership

Funding: $5,000 stipend. Who can apply: Current K-12 teachers in North Carolina; not undergrad-only. Length: One year, including a paid summer externship. 80 hours of professional development; summer externship placement with an industry, research, or university mentor; membership in a statewide alumni network. Field: Teacher-led applied research and curriculum development, tied to a summer research/industry externship. Deadline: Annual, typically closes in late March for the following school-year cohort.
