Leadership Advancement Award (Executive Director Sabbatical Program)

Funding: Up to $10,000 (covers travel, lodging, personal development activities, stipends for staff assuming added responsibilities, and contracted coverage during the leave). Who can apply: Executive Directors, Presidents, or CEOs with at least 10 years of paid service at their current organization; sabbatical must be 2-3 months; organization must serve Chemung County, NY, have a current strategic plan and DEIB plan, and have received a Community Foundation grant within the prior 5 years. Length: 2-3 month sabbatical. Organization must maintain the executive's full salary/benefits during the sabbatical, so the award is on top of normal pay.
