Funding: $20,000 for Established Artist fellows; $10,000 for Emerging Artist fellows, plus a $5,000 professional development and production budget for each fellow. Who can apply: Open to visual artists who have resided in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, or Washington County for at least one year prior to application. Applicants may not be full or part time students in visual arts or a related degree program at the time of application. Two Established Artist and three Emerging Artist fellowships are awarded each year. Length: About 18 months, from a January announcement through a June exhibition the following year. Exhibition of new fellowship work at the Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University at the close of the fellowship period. Field: Arts. Deadline: October 8, 2026 at 5:00 PM (for the 2027 fellowship cycle).
