Funding: Up to $30,000. Who can apply: US citizens only; independent writers/scholars/critics/curators, not currently matriculated in a degree program; must have demonstrated prior accomplishment in the field. Length: Award period Jan 1 - Dec 31 of following year. Nonresidential award; announcement mid-December. Field: 20th-century painting, sculpture, and allied arts (art history). Deadline: September 15, 2026 (annual deadline; this cycle's deadline has passed as of verification but the program recurs every year on/around this date).
