Career Transition Award (CTA)

Funding: Up to $650,000 over up to 5 years (Phase 1: up to $100,000/year for up to 2 years of postdoctoral work; Phase 2: up to $150,000/year for up to 3 years as an independent investigator). Who can apply: Postdoctoral and clinical fellows in the final years of mentored training pursuing breast cancer research, based at a US nonprofit institution, transitioning to independent faculty positions. Structured two-phase mentored transition support from postdoctoral training into an independent tenure-track research career. Field: Health Sciences.
