Radcliffe Fellowship Program

Funding: $78,000 stipend plus a $5,000 project expense allowance; possible relocation, housing, and childcare funds. Who can apply: Doctorate (or equivalent) received at least four years prior to application in humanities/social sciences track; creative arts/journalism applicants judged on publication history; currently-enrolled degree students cannot apply; international applicants accepted. Length: One academic year (September-May), full-time residential. Access to Harvard libraries/resources and interdisciplinary community; private study space; funded participation in public program of talks/events. Field: Humanities. Deadline: September 10, 2026, 5:00 PM ET (Humanities/Social Sciences/Creative Arts/Nonfiction track, 2027-2028 fellowship year); Science/Engineering/Math track deadline October 1, 2026.
