Computing Research Association Trustworthy AI Research Fellowship (CRA)

Funding: $17,000 stipend, plus support for travel, lodging, and meals for the in-person Field School. Who can apply: Early-career scholars 1-3 years post-PhD (degree conferred between May 1, 2023 and July 1, 2025 for the most recent cycle), with a primary doctoral degree in a computing-related field and secondary training or substantial research experience in a social science field; must hold a faculty, postdoctoral, or visiting researcher position at a U.S. institution. Length: 12 months. In-person Field School (4 days) co-located with related summer programs at Northeastern University and the Sloan Foundation; quarterly virtual convenings; interdisciplinary research community.
