Funding: 2026 training stipend: $64,625 (Master's-level) or $78,189 (terminal graduate degree, e.g. MD/PhD/DrPH/JD), plus a $7,500 health insurance allowance. Who can apply: Must hold a Master's or Doctorate degree from a CEPH-accredited, ASPPH-member public health program, received no later than August 2026 or within the prior five years (no earlier than May 2021); must be a U.S. citizen or hold a Green Card. Length: 1 year (September 1, 2026 - August 27, 2027). Mentored applied public health training placement with CDC; most 2026-27 placements based in Atlanta, some remote/hybrid. Field: Health Sciences.
