Activate Fellowship

Funding: $300K+ over two years (living stipend plus support) and $100,000 in dedicated project/research funding. Who can apply: Early-career scientists/engineers with a bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of post-baccalaureate research, engineering, or technology-development experience (open to PhD holders and postdocs); must be a first-time hard-tech founder legally able to work in the U.S. Not limited to undergraduates. Length: Two years. Mentoring, entrepreneurship curriculum, peer/alumni network, in-person retreats; Activate charges no fees and takes no equity. Field: Hard-tech/clean-tech engineering and applied science, including clean energy, grid, industrial decarbonization, and materials technologies.
