NRF Freestanding Postdoctoral Fellowship

Funding: R320000 South African rand annual stipend, plus R50000 per year for research costs. Who can apply: Open to South African citizens and permanent residents, as well as international candidates, who hold a PhD and intend to undertake full time postdoctoral research at a public university or research institution in South Africa. Priority given to Science, Engineering and Technology disciplines. Cannot be held concurrently with a full time salaried position. Minimum R15000 per year institutional contribution required from the host institution. Field: Science, Engineering and Technology.
