Mellon Fellowship of Scholars in the Humanities

Funding: $98,000 annual stipend, plus a $6,000 per year research account and a one time $9,000 moving stipend. Who can apply: Recent PhD recipients within four years of the degree who did not earn their PhD at Stanford, including current postdocs, lecturers, and assistant professors in target humanities fields for the cycle (2027-28 fields are German Studies, Iberian and Latin American Cultures, Music, and Philosophy). Length: Two years, with possible third year extension. Full Stanford employee benefits package, one non teaching term per year on the quarterly rotation, weekly cohort meetings with other Mellon fellows. Field: Humanities, rotating disciplinary fields.
