David E. Bell Postdoctoral Fellowship

Funding: $75,000 annual salary (2026-2028 cohort) plus subsidized health insurance, up to $4,000 relocation funds, and $11,000 research/travel/computer fund over the two years. Who can apply: Postdoctoral researchers with strong academic training, research experience, and leadership potential in population and development studies (sociology, public policy, medicine, economics, demography); open to both US and international scholars; full-time residential program, teaching/consulting not permitted unless pre-approved. Length: Two years, full-time residential. Mentorship from HCPDS/Harvard faculty; weekly Social Demography Seminars; monthly Fellows' meetings with Center Director. Field: Population and development studies (social demography, migration, health transitions, workplace policy).
