Research Technician We are looking for a Research Technician to assist in an MND Association funded project that aims to understand the role of redox signaling in motor neuron disease, using the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster as the primary model system. The technician will be an active member of the research group and assist in executing the research programme in order to meet the overall objectives of the projects. They will work under the direct supervision of a senior researcher, funded on the same grant. As the projects progress, the post holder will be expected to work increasingly independently. The role holder will provide technical support by assisting with lab organisation, training of new lab members, performing experimental procedures, and analysing results.
