Strategies for computational vaccine design: from prefusion stabilisation to epitope focussing

Training course in the life sciences listed on ELIXIR's TeSS training portal, run by European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), online on 4 November 2026. In this webinar, we will explore the state of the art in computational and structure-based vaccine design. Specifically, we will discuss two prominent strategies: preserving a vaccine antigen in its prefusion conformation through a few stabilising mutations, and extracting epitope information for scaffolding onto non-antigen protein backbones.
