May Professorship of Medicine The Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine and Somerville College intend to appoint to the May Professorship of Medicine with effect from September 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. This statutory professorship is one of the University's most senior clinical academic appointments and offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of clinical medicine at Oxford. The successful candidate will also hold a Professorial Fellowship at Somerville College. As May Professor, you will provide strategic leadership across the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine, one of Europe's largest and most successful biomedical research departments, bringing together world-leading basic, translational and clinical science to improve human health globally.
