About this listing
This special issue invites archaeologists, heritage specialists, digital practitioners, designers, illustrators, writers, comic authors, playwrights, actors, directors, visual artists, researchers from other disciplines, and other creative practitioners to examine how alternative ways of representing archaeological data can generate new questions and potentially transform archaeological research, interpretation, practice, and dissemination. Contributions may be submitted by researchers or practitioners working individually, or through collaborations between archaeological and non-archaeological specialists. The aim is not simply to catalogue new tools, technologies, or communication formats, but to examine what happens when archaeological evidence is translated into another visual, narrative, sensory, or performative language. Appel à contribution.
