REU Site: Research and Training in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biodesign (B3) for Undergraduates.

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at CUNY City College (New York, NY) in the biological sciences: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 10 students a summer for 10 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents.
