REU Site: Research Experiences for Community College Students in Physics and Astronomy

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at CUNY Queensborough Community College (Bayside, NY) in the mathematical and physical sciences: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 12 students a summer. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents. Dates and how to apply are on the NSF award page and the host department. NSF funds the award to 2029.
