REU Site: UT Rio Grande Valley REU Program on Applied Mathematics and Computational and Data Science (AMCADS)

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (Edinburg, TX) in the mathematical and physical sciences: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 8 students a summer for 9 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents. Dates and how to apply are on the NSF award page and the host department. NSF funds the award to 2028.
