REU Site: Advancing InterDisciplinary Education Research in STEM

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at Middle Tennessee State University (Murfreesboro, TN) in STEM education: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 10 students a summer for 8 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents. Dates and how to apply are on the NSF award page and the host department. NSF funds the award to 2028.
