REU Site: Textiles of Tomorrow: Equipping the Next Generation to Design a Sustainable Future

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC) in engineering: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 8 students a summer for 10 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents.
