REU Site: Research experience through collaborative teams in bioprocessing for conversion of waste into products of value

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at Auburn University (Auburn, AL) in engineering: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 9 students a summer. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents. Dates and how to apply are on the NSF award page and the host department. NSF funds the award to 2028.
