REU Site: Enhancing Knowledge Integration Through Undergraduate Research - Particle-based Functional Material for Energy, Sustainability, and Biomedicine

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA) in engineering: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 10 students a summer for 10 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents.
