REU Site: Center for Early Research Experiences in Functional Materials

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Worcester, MA) in the mathematical and physical sciences: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 10 students a summer for 10 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents. Dates and how to apply are on the NSF award page and the host department. NSF funds the award to 2028.
