REU Site: Climate, Air Quality, and Urban Systems Research at The Pennsylvania State University

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at Pennsylvania State Univ University Park (University Park, PA) in the geosciences: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 15 students a summer. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents.
