REU Site: Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences - Undergraduate Research Experience in the Gulf of Maine and the World Ocean

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences (East Boothbay, ME) in the geosciences: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 10 students a summer for 10 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents.
