REU Site: Field and laboratory studies of coastal marine processes at the Shannon Point Marine Center

An NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) site at Western Washington University (Bellingham, WA) in the geosciences: undergraduates spend the summer on a research project with a faculty mentor. It takes about 8 students a summer for 9 weeks. NSF pays REU students a stipend and funds participants who are US citizens, nationals or permanent residents.
