Delling Lab – Junior Specialist The Delling Lab in the Department of Physiology at UC San Francisco is recruiting for a Junior Specialist. Responsibilities: Basic laboratory skills: Molarity calculations, accurate solution formulation, pH determination, and maintenance of accurate notebooks. Molecular biology: PCR, DNA isolation and manipulation, PCR genotyping interpretation, protein gel electrophoresis. Animal work: Will be expected to work with mice and manage mouse colony. Lab management: Oversee and organize ordering of lab supplies. Required Qualifications: Must have a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience. Ability to understand and follow basic laboratory protocols with direct supervision. Ability to perform complex tasks without committing errors.
