Postdoctoral Researcher Positions The RIKEN Center for Interdisciplinary Theoretical and Mathematical Sciences (iTHEMS) is seeking a few postdoctoral researchers to join the Category Theoretical Physics RIKEN ECL Research Unit, iTHEMS, and advance the JST PRESTO project “Lattice Construction of Quantum Phases via Higher Complete Sets” in the PRESTO “Uncharted Quantum” Research Area, together with the principal investigator, Kantaro Ohmori. The project aims to establish a framework for systematically constructing lattice models that realize quantum phases, starting from categorical and algebraic descriptions of quantum field theory (generalized symmetries, non-invertible symmetries, higher algebra, and related structures).
