Postdoctoral Fellow – Cancer/Immune Metabolism & Bioengineering

About the Position The Cantor Lab , newly relocated to the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, is actively seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join our growing, multidisciplinary team. The overarching goal of our lab is to understand how metabolic conditions affect the behavior of human cells, with a focus on deciphering genetic and environmental contributions to cell fitness across cancer and immunity. To achieve this broad goal, we integrate our unique technological platforms—including synthetic physiologic media and our custom bioreactor system—with a multidisciplinary approach at the biology-engineering-biotechnology interface. This strategy allows us to uncover previously hidden cell biology, providing a mechanistic lens to reveal insights that are otherwise masked or overlooked in standard models.
