About this listing
Postdoctoral Position (F/M/D) | Experimental Particle Physics The Max-Planck-Institute for Physics is engaged in fundamental research in particle and astroparticle physics from both experimental and theoretical perspectives. One main research activity is participation in the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN. We invite applications for a postdoctoral position (f/m/d) in experimental particle physics within the ATLAS muon and gaseous detector group. The group has contributed decisively to the design and construction of the ATLAS muon spectrometer and plays a strong role in the upgrades of the muon detector and trigger system for the High-Luminosity LHC. These activities are supported by mechanical and electronics engineering departments and workshops.
