Amines constitute one of the largest classes of organic compounds and display enormous structural diversity, which is apparent in many natural products, drugs, and bioactive substances. Over the past few decades, tremendous efforts have been devoted to developing synthetic methods for forging new C–N bonds to access amines and related nitrogen-containing compounds from feedstock materials.
