Doctoral Student In Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics And Ai Third-cycle subject: Engineering Mechanics Project description: Within EU doctoral network FairCFD, this project will combine high-performance computing, experiments and artificial intelligence in non-Newtonian flows, with the aim of improving rheological characterisation and modelling. In particular, we will design a digital twin rheometer to reliably measure complex fluid parameters in time-varying and chaotic flows. We will use modern AI techniques to exploit spatial patterns in the computational and experimental data and optimize parameter sensitivity.
