Postdoctoral Research Associate – Pediatric Allergy & Pulmonary Medicine

Postdoctoral Research Associate The Horani lab is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our group investigating airway epithelial cell and motile cilia biology. Our lab is part of the WashU Cilia group and investigates motile cilia function using human and mouse airway models. We are interested in cilia biology, airway cell differentiation, motile ciliogenesis, and the pathogenesis of the human disease, Primary ciliary dyskinesia. New team members will join ongoing projects and embark on new projects looking at the role novel proteins in motile cilia structure and function, new factors affecting motile ciliogenesis, and the role of inflammation in the airways. Candidates with experience in transcriptomics are encouraged to apply. Experience with microscopy is an advantage.
