Who can apply: PhD candidates within one to two years of completing a PhD in macroeconomics, international economics, public finance, financial markets, or related field; must remain enrolled as a student after the internship; typically under age 32 at internship start. Length: 10-12 weeks (June-September). Mentorship from an experienced IMF economist; research paper opportunity potentially published internally; strong pipeline into the IMF Economist Program.
